Question: Why do cats take off like rockets, when ever they cut a fart?

One of my cats (Archie) suddenly takes off running when ever he lets one go. Compared to my boy friend, who just stands there grinning foolishly & tries to squeeze off another one.

Because they know that cat farts are hazardous biochemicals. LOL at least my cats farts are!

Maybe he doesn't like the smell any more than you do lol. my cat farts all the time too. but he never runs away though. just lolls around like nothing ever happened while we gasp and gag.

I had a cat that was relatively psycho. Maybe he had the "walking farts " LOL cuz he would randomly walk and then shoot off and walk and shoot off! I think cat farts are worse than dog farts!

Mine goes berserk and runs up the curtains when it happens. Its as if he's been shot or something and if he does it when hes sitting on my knee he digs his claws in as he sets of using them to get the extra jet propelled take off on his way to the curtains. One of these days he's going to go splat against the wall cos I will be washing them or something!
