Cats On Video

Question: Which animal is smarter, dog or cat? i have 2 cats now and have had dogs in past. dogs much more trainable.?

But does more trainable mean they are smarter. My cats seem to be as smart as my dogs were, but they are just more independent and don't want to be trained. The cats actually seem to do a much better job of staying out of trouble.

Animals have their own personalities. Cats generally exhibit an independence and don't like to follow set commands. They are also just as intelligent as any dog that exists. Peace!

Dogs are much smarter than cats, adult cats have the mind of a 3 year old child , you can train the dogs it takes time,pups are faster to train,an adult dog is like a teenager no train of thought

You can train cats. They're just not as eager to please us as dogs are lol I don't know, in my experience, I've met a lot of really dumb dogs. Can't say I ever came across a cat ithought was truly dumb, just hyper.
