Question: Funny things a cat will do?

My cat, Daisy, almost always has to follow me to the restroom because she is obsessed with watching the toilet flush when I am through! She also sleeps in one of my kitchen cabinets at night. I leave the door open that way all she has to do is sleep on her shelf, ( that I keep empty just for her.) What other funny things do your cats do? I would love to find one that is a bit more bizarre than the toilet flushing obsession! LOL

My cat is obsessed with m &m's. I know chocolate is no good for animals so try as i might i try to keep them out of her reach when i rarely buy a packet. Unfortunately she scratches open the bag of m &m's with her claw..then presses her foot on an m &m and it gets in between her foot pads...she then raises her foot and eats it out of her paw pads...because she has white fur around her mouth...the result is a rainbow beard

Allie will not leave the filters in the litter boxes. Everytime I put them in, she takes them out. I've even tried putting them in when she's in another room but she soon realizes it and takes them out again. I really wish I knew what the problem is.

Sometimes when my cat wants to lay down, rather than sit and stretch his front legs, he will just kind of fall to the side with a "huff ". When he wants to play, he will roll on his back next to me and put his front feet up. To entertain himself, I have seen him grab his toy mouse with his teeth and then by turning his head he can fling the mouse clear across the room and he'll go fetch it.

Mine loves to stand beside the shower and peek in...so sometimes, i just leave the curtain open. i think shes just amazed by the water.

The oldes of my 2 cats (he's 11 months) is obsessed with the door to the basement in my house. He will sit beside it and meow and meow until he either gives up or someone opens the door for him to go exploring in the basement. He also sticks his paws underneath it, it's like he's trying to open it himself! Not quite the toilet flushing obsession but it's cute to watch him lol!

Our female (Mia) refuses to drink from the water bowl, instead she prefers to dip her paw in and scoop the water up to her mouth. We think she may be a reincarnated large dog, as she loves to play fetch, chase her tail, and beats the crap out of our male cat who is 3 times her size. Our male (Milo) is a vegetarian (I once caught him on the counter sitting next to a plate of cheeseburgers, eating a piece of lettuce), likes to bang doors open and shut, and he steals things (jewelry, hair ties, hard candy, my lingerie) to put in the water bowl-which may explain why Mia won't drink directly from it. = )

My cat has quite a few bizarre antics. She will be sitting on the floor and if someone walks by she will flop over onto her side and meow....sometimes she doesn't even want us to pet her when she does this. She runs back and forth through the house for absolutely no reason with her tail all puffed out. This can go on for almost half an hour sometimes. This is when she manages to knock over her cat tower that we have nailed to the wall. I have caught her stealing things from the trash can. Nacho cheese is her favorite. When no one else is home she will follow me around the house like a lost puppy. She will also play fetch. She knows when daddy comes home and will set up shop by the door waiting for him to come home, about 15 minutes before he gets here. She gets very upset when hes late, but shes definitely a mama's girl and she spends almost every moment with me, just not when daddy's coming home. She will lay on her back in the middle of the floor with her legs all splayed out to the sides, and then attack your feet when you poke her in the tummy with your foot....one of her favorite games. By far the cutest and most bizarre is how she eats her dinner. We give her wet food and as long as she thinks no one is watching her she will use her paw to pick up the food and lick it off. But as soon as someone walks into the kitchen or she notices us looking she drops her paw and eats normally. One time daddy picked her up as she was walking out of the kitchen, and couldn't figure out why her paws were wet! We discovered her odd eating style a few day later and still laugh when we catch her doing this, especially because she goes to such lenghs to hide it!

My cat discovered the joys of watching the toilet flush when she was a little kitten. Now she doesn't have to wait until I go to the bathroom. A couple of years ago she learned how to flush it herself !

My female cat, Mimi, only drinks water out of the running faucet. When anyone goes into the bathroom, she pushes the door open and jumps up on the counter and waits for the water to be turned on. My male cat, Ellie, likes to sleep in the hampers. His favorite is the one behind the bathroom door. You go in and close the door and there he is. He just lays there and looks up at you. The other female, Peanut, is just nutty. We found out after the fact how perfect her name is. I have had many cats in my life and I have never seen a clumsy cat. Peanut is clumsy. She falls off of things; the couch, the bed, the back of the chair, the bench in the kitchen, etc. Sometimes she just rolls over to stretch, and BOOM, off she goes. Sometimes she just gets so excited to jump up somewhere and just looses her footing, BOOM. Then she sits there with this dumbfounded look on her face. It's too funny!!
