Hi, we got a new black kitty last Sunday, he is a boy. I have three other cats, the older cats are both boys and the four month old kitten is a girl. Both of the boys were hissing at him at first, but now they are okay with him, except my younger girl kitten has taken a great dislike to him and keeps trying to attack him. I've really bonded with this new kitten and mum says if they don't get on by tomorrow, she is going to get rid of him, this really upsets me since I love him to bits. She keeps trying to get him and when we all pick her up, she growls and makes funny noises and earlier, she tried to scratch someone. She wasn't like this before she was here.I really want to keep him. Has anyone else had this problem before? We've had him for six days now. Please help he was here I tried to bring them closer, but she got mad. I've tried feeding them today, getting toys out, yet she still doesn't like him. Me and mum thought out of all the cats, she would get on with him, since they are of similar age.I've broke up most of their fights, but I let them carry on for a moment longer and she hurt him a bit and he ran away from her. I don't want the new kitten to feel pressured.

I have been feeding my three cats Wet Special Kitty food. Does anyone know how good this food is? Also, What type of wet food would you most recommend feeding for my cats. One is 15 years old, the other two are 3 months old.
Kitty cat help please?
I was just wondering if with age cats bones become a little more defined. My cat is 10 years old and i can feel his spine bones more and his shoulder blades are more visible. I wanna know if that's it before i take him in for a check up. Thank you in advance.It seems like he is losing a little weight but not a lot. Its been sort of gradual.Also, he has had a huge increase in appetite.
My dirty kitty cat assuming position?
for some reason everytime i let her stay out side she lays on her back and attracts like 3 4 other male cats. and i mean like the concept of it is just wrong. i mean i don't want to call her a whore but its like thats what she's doing. Now that i keep her in the house now she's always in that position. When she has to go pee or whatever or when she goes eat she goes back and lays in that position again.P.S. if i knew what being sprayed was i would of done it a long time ago.

One of my barn kitties was found down by the highway. Dead from a Hit by car. It looks like another animals was eating at her..she is eaten away under the tail. We have no stray dogs in the area. Would my other cats eat at the dead cat? That is sort of gross. We do have an opossum that lives around here, and coyote..but the coyote would have taken her or eaten more. Will cats do that?OK..let me add..my other barn kitties are well fed. Dry and canned food every day. They are all spayed and nuetered and vaccinated. I did pick up the dead kitty as soon as I found her. I will bury her or have her cremated at the vet clinic
What is a good cat litter for kitties with crystals?
What is a good cat litter to buy when your kitty has had previous crystal problems and you want to monitor the levels to make sure the crystals will not happen again? I heard that there was this cat litter that turned blue when your cats ph levels were too high, and that would notify you that there was something wrong and your cat would need medical attention by a vet My cat has been struggling with crystal issues off and of along with urinary tract infections, and it appears to be happening again. I have changed the food, done all that have been told by my vet, put my kitty on a special diet food, etc. I have done the works, but I need to be more aware of when his problem is in the beginning Please help I am worried about my little buddy I have called the vet, done all I can on a Sunday, and he is doing well for now. He is peeing, and he is drinking, he is also on his diet food He's ok, so please don't think he is not getting the attention he deserves. I am right here with him

Saturday night, I had fish and chips at Cheesecake Factory, and asked for the leftovers to go. I call it a " kitty" bag, since it's a treat for my 2 cats. Does anyone else do this? Relax I LOVE MY FUR BABIES How is cod bad for cats????? I bring lasagna home in a " kitty" bag about once every 3 4 months. They don't gorge on it. What's not healthy is feeding cats a bunch of grain and by products in " cat" food. I feed mine regularly, real human grade chicken canned meat, all natural, only chicken and water, no broth onions . Also, high protien no carb hard food, and some canned Wellness.Thanks Sahara My usual kitty bag is chicken, shrimp, beef, or salmon. I even will order the salmon , just so my kitties can have a treat when I get home.lol
Aggressive female cat has become scarey kitty-what do I do?
5 cats at my house 3 housemates, adults 2 female & 1 male, fixed, always lived together. Two new kittens different ages different sexes. Since the kittens came, 2 female cat wont come in the house for very long , is very aggressive to everyone hisses, bellos and growls no matter what growls the whole time she eats I feed everyone separately . Cant hardly touch her even though she comes and rubs against me. VERY AGGRESSIVE behavior towards everyone and everything acts ferel all the sudden. Has become scarey kitty I am afraid to have her around my family small children I cant seem to get her to calm down trying everything I can think of, still I have to put her outside because she is scarey as hell.
